We are a full-service general contractor. A full-service general contractor offers help from start to finish providing professional insight to all parts of the building process, from pre-construction through post-construction. We use our experience, knowledge and connections to help navigate our client’s projects. As a general contractor we offer a number of specialty services.
excavation
Excavation is one of our primary services as a general contractor. Typical earthwork excavation projects include road construction, railway beds, causeways, dams, levees, canals, and berms. Other common earthworks are land grading and abatement to reconfigure the topography of a site, or to stabilize slopes. Shoring structures are used as temporary or permanent shoring as part of excavation projects and include: mechanically stabilized earth, earth anchors, cliff stabilizations, grout curtains, retaining walls, slurry walls, soil nails, tiebacks, trench shoring, caissons, and gabion walls.
concrete
Concrete slabs and concrete foundations are one of our specialties as a general contractor. A common structural element of modern buildings, concrete slabs consist of a flat, horizontal surface made of cast concrete. Steel-reinforced slabs are most often used to construct floors and ceilings, while thinner mud slabs may be used for exterior paving. As a contractor we oversee the entire process from forming and rebar installation, to concrete pour.
utilities
Many building projects require the construction of underground utility lines, such as water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, fiber lines, etc. It is important to have an experienced company doing this work so that you know you will get the best quality of work possible while keeping safety and community well-being a priority. Many of our projects involve some kind of underground utilities installation, maintenance, or decommission.
import/export
Most projects that involve mass excavation will also need some level of import or export of materials and spoils. As a contractor we handle import of materials and export of all soil, dirt and rubble that result from excavation.
energy infrastructure
We have completed many energy infrastructure projects over the years for clients like Puget Sound Energy (PSE) and other major energy companies in the Pacific Northwest. Our experience includes several new greenfield electrical substation builds and renovations of existing substations. In addition, we have experience with large-scale solar fields, wind farms, and overhead power lines.
building construction
Commercial building construction is another area of expertise for us. We contract for either new builds or renovations including demolition. As general contractor we are capable of performing the entire project from civil work to concrete and carpentry work.
